Hailing from Mombasa, I developed a love for the arts at a relatively young age. Growing up with my uncles, I was introduced to the music of Michael Jackson which instilled in me an early appreciation for rhythm & the kind of feeling that only music can give.
The seeds of artistry (music & fine art) were first planted in primary school but it wasn’t until after high school that I evolved from mere connoisseur to practitioner – with Hip Hop the centre piece of my repertoire.
Mentored & inspired by some of the most respected artists on the scene, I have continued to develop my skill set further & gradually earned a reputation for intricate lyrics & superior wordplay;
my 2 mixtapes “dARKsOUL I: 5 Shots To The Heart” & “dARKsOUL II: iLLicit Blues” are evidence of this. My journey through art goes on.
In addition, I’m a proud author of the critically-acclaimed poetry anthology “Thoughts of a Patient Man Breaking” – self-published through The 4185 Press.
I’m also a fine artist, dabbling in acrylic painting & pencil sketches.
